Intern at the Edgewater Historical Society Next Fall!

The Edgewater Historical Society is looking for one or two undergraduate students for the Fall semester. Students will learn how to use tools to do research on local Chicago history, have the opportunity to write articles that will be published in the Society's newsletter, and add to the Society's building permit and storefronts databases. As time permits, there can also be field work and outreach to Edgewater institutions.

The Edgewater Historical Society was founded in January of 1988 to involve the community in the research, documentation, collection and preservation of Edgewater History,  promote the study, sharing and enjoyment of that history; and promote the preservation of landmarks and historical structures.
