WWI Marketing Intern

The Pritzker Military Museum and Library is looking for a WWII Marketing Intern for the Spring 2017 semester. Under the guidance of a mentor, the WWII Marketing Intern will assist the Museum & Library’s External Affairs team in development, cultivation and distribution of content related to WWII for the Museum & Library’s website, social media profiles and other channels.

ESSENTIAL POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Coursework or experience in marketing, public relations, event management, graphic design, or related disciplines 
  • Advanced computer skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in teams and independently 
  • Advanced research historical topics and put them into context for contemporary audiences 
ASSIGNED RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES 
  • Helping to build and curate content for a WWII micro site 
  • Developing social media content related to WWII 
  • Coordinating promotional activities for WWII programs and events 
  • Building an internal database of experts and speakers on WWII topics 
  • Other duties as Assigned 

This is a paid position.
