The Hinsdale Historical Society in Hinsdale, Ill. is looking to regularly recruit history students in the Chicagoland area to enhance our 19th century historic house museum and become an important institution in our community. With that, we are now seeking qualified and enthusiastic interns for a variety of projects at the Hinsdale History Museum.
Projects include exhibits, collections, museum education, programming, grants and more. Internships are unpaid but students will learn and apply museum skills in a historic setting. They will also receive credit for their hard work and lasting references. Experience preferred but not necessary. Hinsdale is accessible by vehicle or train (Metra Rail System).
