The Archives Intern will work with staff at the Chicago Metro History Education Center (CMHEC) to review and organize approximately 60 feet of archival records from the 35 year history of the Chicago Metro History Fair.

Paid Marketing and Events Internship at the Pritzker Military Library
The Pritzker Military Library is looking to fill a paid part time Marketing and Events internship position. Under the guidance of a staff member, the intern will assist the Library’s events and marketing team in the planning, organizing, and execution of internal and external events such as facility rental, meetings, author and scholar programs, and holiday gatherings. The intern will work at our main library at 104 S. Michigan Ave. A resume, cover letter, and writing sample will be required.

Meet the Summer 2013 Interns
This past summer, four undergraduate History majors walked the streets of Camden looking for traces of a devastating riot forty years before, tracked lost and forgotten sites of Swedish American heritage in Andersonville, dug into the rich holdings in culinary history at the Newberry Library, and sought meaning in the historic patterns of enrollment in Chicago’s Catholic schools.

National Girls Baseball League Documentary Film Research Internship
Adam Chu, an independent filmmaker living in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, is seeking a research assistant for his National Girls Baseball League Documentary Film Project. The National Girls Softball/Baseball League was a women's professional softball league that existed in the city of Chicago from 1944-1954. The league featured many well known ballplayers from the 1930's, 40's, and 50's, including Freda Savona, Audrey Wagner, and Sophie Kurys.
